Vilnius Christmas Market Tour

Vilnius celebrates Christmas with public Christmas trees and relatively new traditions - a European-style Christmas market. The Vilnius Christmas market takes place in the historic center; stalls sell seasonal treats and handmade gifts.

The Christmas season begins with a charity bazaar coordinated by the International Women's Association of Vilnius at Town Hall, where Santa Claus greets children, and foods and products from around the world are available for sale.

1st Day, (Thursday): ARRIVAL TO VILNIUS

Arrive at Vilnius airport. Transfer to the hotel (not included). Check-in. The first acquaintance with the city on their own.

Vilnius Historical:

After breakfast a city tour of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania for more than 600 years. The tour includes St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Gediminas Castle, Cathedral Square with St. Stanislaw Cathedral and Belltower, Bernadine Garden, St. Ann, and Bernardines’ Church, Užupis-one of the oldest districts of Vilnius, mentioned in the historical sources as far back as the 16th century, nowadays the artists’ “republic”, which has its constitution, national anthem, calendar and map, short photo stop on the street Subaciaus to throw the view of the old town from the observation deck, the Gates of Dawn with a holy image of the Virgin Mary, Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit, Town Hall Square and Vilnius University (founded in 1579). In the afternoon free time to visit Christmas events and the Christmas market.
